Bathroom renovation pays off

From a dusty, beige, 80s vibe to an elegant bathroom with modern fittings and plenty of comfort. The main requests from the family of three were to transform the bathtub, which had been unused for years, into a spacious, floor-even and barrier-free shower complete with floor drain, and to replace the trusty shower toilet with a contemporary model.

Timeless and modern dream bathroom

A completely new look and modern bathroom equipment were the goal. The old beige, partly patterned tiles gave way to large-format stone tiles in greige. They bring naturalness and generosity to the bathroom. The timeless colour scheme with beige, brown and grey tones throughout the room creates a noble ambience. Towels in muted red bring subtle colour into play and also pick up on the red of the corals of the fibreglass wallpaper. Speaking of fibreglass wallpaper – it is the visual star in the new bathroom and a perfect material alternative to tiles in wet areas. These wallpapers are durable and are well suited to showcasing nature motifs on the wall, for example. A nice side effect is that the motif is also reflected in the glass grey-brown front cover of the washbasin furniture. This gives the vanity unit an exciting touch depending on the lighting situation.
