Stains in the bathroom? Geberit has the answers. Marianne Krüger, a senior figure in the chemicals industry, explains the unsightly stains that can appear in the bathroom due to limescale and silicate, and how to prevent or remove them.

When using descaling agents, which often contain acids such as hydrochloric acid, always observe the application times and then rinse with plenty of water. Regularly drying wet taps with a soft microfibre cloth will prevent the unsightly white deposits from forming in the first place.
