Stains in the bathroom – part 5 | Geberit Southern Africa

Stains in the bathroom caused by WC cleaning agents and WC tabs

Stains in the bathroom? Geberit has the answers. Marianne Krüger, a senior figure in the chemicals industry, explains how yellowish or bluish stains on WC lids and seats can be caused by cleaning agents containing chlorine and acid and how to prevent or remove them.

These special WC cleaning agents and tabs must only ever be used in the WC pan. If they do end up on plastic parts of the toilet, they must always be wiped away quickly with a damp cloth or sponge to prevent stains from forming in the first place.
