Geberit wall drain For an aesthetic, barrier-free shower surface
A wall drain allows the water in the shower to drain away almost invisibly. The shower surface and the drain form a harmonious visual unit, as the shower drain is concealed in the wall. This gives the shower area an elegant and contemporary look.
When it comes to wall drains, Geberit offers an extensive choice of designs. The drain cover is available in various surface finishes made of stainless steel and plastic. You can also customise the wall drain and adapt it to suit your own bathroom wall.
Wall drains from Geberit are not only aesthetically appealing, but also practical. The integrated hair trap catches hair and prevents clogging. This can be easily removed for cleaning, and then reattached to the cover.

Installing the drain behind the wall offers another major advantage in that it creates a seamless shower surface. The resulting floor-even design is the perfect choice for barrier-free showers. This facilitates convenient access to the shower and is particularly suitable for people with limited mobility.
Wall drains also tick plenty of boxes in terms of their design. The drain is mounted on an installation frame behind the wall to ensure nothing disturbs the sleek design of the shower area.

Shower drain Flat shower drain with high discharge rate
A flat shower drain is the classic solution for draining floor-even showers in private, semipublic and public sanitary areas. It features a minimalist design for shower drainage and is available in different versions and styles.
Our shower floor drain is characterised by the following properties:
- Normal or low installation height for renovations
- Design grating and hair trap included in the scope of delivery
- Sealing fleece premounted at the factory

From floor-even shower drains for a modern and barrier-free design to classic drains with elegant covers, discover our full range of options and get inspired by our products to accentuate your personal style.
The floor-even Geberit shower drain offers a high discharge rate with a flat trap structure. The drain can be easily positioned in the shower depending on the design requirements, and a hair trap protects against blockages. The dimensions of the floor drain are just 8 x 8 cm, making it more compact than many conventional floor drains.
You are free to choose between different design variants with a round or square inlet and a screw-on design for use in public sanitary facilities.

Shower drain for vinyl (PVC) floor drains
For public and semipublic areas
The shower drain for vinyl floor drains is suitable for installation in shower areas in semipublic buildings or temporary sanitary rooms.
The drain can be installed quickly and easily in rooms floored with roll-type materials, such as vinyl (PVC) or linoleum.
Under the grating, there is an integrated hair trap that can be easily removed for cleaning. This effectively prevents clogging in the drain and the discharge pipes.

Installation
Wall drain
- For new constructions and renovations: The wall drain for showers is the answer customers have been waiting for when it comes to bringing their dream designs to life. Not only is it suitable for use in a wide range of applications, but the system technology allows wall drains to be installed in all bathrooms featuring a prewall installation system – even in renovations or where space is limited
- Geberit wall drains (with screed heights at the inlet of 65 to 200 mm) can be installed with the Geberit Duofix, Geberit Kombifix and Geberit GIS installation elements
- As for the Geberit ready-to-fit sets for the wall drain, these are available with covers in different versions made of plastic, stainless steel or a tile-bearing finish
- The optionally installable collector profile directly in front of the wall supports the slope and collects dirt and deposits so that they can be readily washed away
Shower drain
- When installation needs to be as simple as possible and costs kept as low as they can be, the Geberit floor drain is the best solution – and a very compact one at that, with a grating area of only 8 × 8 cm
- Safety ex works: The caulk is perfectly prepared because the sealing foil is injected into the product directly ex works
Shower drain for vinyl (PVC) flooring
- The structure matches that of Geberit’s familiar floor drains. The drains are available in dimensions of d40, d50 and d56, as well as in various construction heights
- Quick and economical installation thanks to tool-free mounting and a complete scope of delivery

Frequently asked questions about shower and wall drains
Where can I buy Geberit wall drains and shower drains?
You can view and buy Geberit wall and shower drains at your local specialist dealership or in a showroom near you. Our partners will be happy to help.
What type of shower drain would suit my bathroom?
Start by deciding on your bathroom design and we will offer the perfect shower drain. This is because choosing the right shower drain for your bathroom depends on various factors.
Wall drains ensure an uninterrupted floor surface, whereas shower drains in the floor create deliberate stylistic elements.
Geberit shower drains guarantee quick and reliable drainage of the shower.
What should I look out for when buying a shower drain?
There are a number of important points to consider when buying a wall or shower drain:
Design and style: Choose a wall or shower drain that matches the overall design of your bathroom. Geberit offers solutions that meet your design requirements.
Discharge rate: The discharge rate must be appropriate for the sanitary installation. This is why you should check the drainage capacity of the shower drain to ensure that it can drain off water sufficiently and that efficient drainage is guaranteed.
Cleaning and maintenance: Look for a drain that is easy to clean and simple to maintain. The shower drain from Geberit features a removable cover with integrated hair trap.
Do I need a specialist to install a shower drain?
Yes. We recommend having the installation carried out by a specialist in line with building regulations. This is the best way to ensure you can count on a functioning shower for years to come.
How – and how often – do I clean a Geberit shower drain?
The frequency of cleaning required depends on how the shower drain is used. We recommend checking the shower drain regularly. The integrated comb insert prevents hair and other contaminants from getting into the shower drain.
Be sure to remove hair and other forms of contamination from the comb insert and clean it thoroughly at regular intervals.
What are the benefits of a wall drain?
A wall drain allows the draining water in the shower to drain away almost invisibly. Furthermore, the installation of the drain in the wall creates a seamless shower area. When coupled with floor-even access to the shower area, this makes it possible to create barrier-free showers.
With a wall drain, you also have more freedom in your choice of shower floor, as this can be designed to be entirely seamless.
